Tweet! Tweet! My Awesome Target Find and Pics From Today!

12.30.2010

How AMAZING is this frame?  I just adore it as it is the perfect frame for this picture and muuu guuuurlfraaans and me, in Atlanta last year and one great way that we stay in contact with each other, the whole lot of us is via Twitter, sending tweets to each other.  Really blogging and twitter is like having modern day pen pals/scrap booking, we live all over the country, but tweets and blog posts keep us up to date.  Recognize these amazing women?  Thought you would!
My other scores from Target today include the above pictured snow pants, from the boys department, for moi of course!  They are hideous, I know, but they will serve a great purpose of helping this Mama sled with her babies!

Target always has loads of party accessories for whatever occasion and the big T had fab treasure for tomorrow nights celebration, my kids just love these party kits every year!  We usually go to our cabin for New Year's Eve, we actually have never gone "out" for NYE since we had kids, too many drunk whackadoo's are on the road and we prefer the cozy setting of our cabin, nestled in the snowy mountains on the icy water.  We have fresh snow so we will be sledding and maybe go skiing too!
I had to show you all how beautiful it was here today.  Sunshine + snow = HEAVEN in my book!  This pic is the Spokane bridge, taken from our bedroom window.

The top of the hill we live on.
These were taken with my iPhone driving home, up the hill where we live.

Our neighborhood, facing another hill.
So minus the fire hydrant.... I love this picture!  The sky was so blue today, sun shining on the fresh snow, it was a glorious site.  I hope you all had a wonderful day!  Can you believe that tomorrow is the last day of the year?  I really cannot wrap my mind around the entire "2010 is over" thought.  This was one of the biggest, if not THE biggest learning year of my life, for all of the lessons that I have learned and am still learning, I am so very grateful.

Pugalicious!

12.28.2010

I am crossing all of my fingers and toes, praying that I get to adopt this precious little girl!  We get to meet her tomorrow or Thursday night.  Seriously, how adorable is she?  BEYOND ADORBS!
Getting a smoochie from her brother!
 Chewing on his ear!
Every fab, diva pup needs a collar and harness like these!  I can't wait to shop for her!
Think lots of positive puppy thoughts for us!  I will keep you all updated on the status of the puppy adoption!

Cleaning Up The Show.

After mucho rich holiday food and beverages, it's time to clean up the show. Why wait until January 1st? This jiggle performance needs to be tightened up, STAT. I ate well today, jogged (no running happened, this was a pathetic, very slow jog) for 30 minutes, I'm already starting to feel better. Psychosomatic? Possibly. I'm okay with that.

What a very Merry Christmas!

12.26.2010

My heart is so very full!  Our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day celebrations were so wonderful!

We spent Christmas Eve, as we do every year, at my parents and it was so relaxing.  We had such a great visit with my parents; the kids had a great day too enjoying their cousins and grandparents.  The tradition at my parent's is to have Mexican food every year and my, oh my, was it ever delicious!

Christmas Day was spent at our house, the kids woke up at the crack of freaking dawn... 3:40am was when they first woke up, we continued to send them back to bed until 6:00am.  They were so excited; we couldn't make them wait any longer!  Watching them open their presents, their absolute excitement and joy was just so wonderful.  These moments, when they are little are so fleeting and so very precious.  *TEAR*

Jer’s family all came over in the afternoon for Christmas dinner, our house was packed full of family, food and fun!  Carols were sung, the same ones we sing every year, stories were told and toasts were made, it was a great celebration.

The best part about this Christmas was being with our families, each other and our children.  Our children make the season (every day of every season) so very special.  I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, filled with love and joy!

 Singing carols!

Some of Our Holiday Decorations!

12.22.2010

The Living Room

Even Chicky baby likes having some holiday pizazz!

I love sending and receiving holiday cards!  This is the display I made!
The bow I made to top the card display, along with a Mono letter, of course!
Tablescape that I created for our dining room table.
Our bedroom
Both of my girls always have little trees in their rooms, my son prefers to cover his room in lots of colored lights.
I just love Christmas decorations, they are so happy.  This year I started decorating BEFORE Thanksgiving, I have never done that before!  The happiness that the jolly decorations brings us at our house makes me want to put them up a little early and take them down a little late, they are so fun, why not stretch out the holiday season as long as possible?

Closet Obsession

12.06.2010

Seriously!  Is this not the most glorious closet EVER?  I need to get some glam organization happening in my closet STAT.  Right now mine looks like it threw up clothes, accessories and jewels everywhere.  I need to figure out a better system, get my jewelry organized for starters; the jewels are the biggest mess in there.  I am a lover of necklaces, bracelets, earrings, well all things glittery and my obsession with accessories has made the closet a big cluster.... such a cluster that Jer is threatening to move out of the closet.  I secretly think that this is a brilliant idea, but seriously, how selfish of me is that thought?  MUCHO selfish indeed.  Stay tuned kids; there will be a closet redo happening soon!
